St. Petersburg Distillery

Shining a light on the authentic Florida craft spirit experience

How we started

With a rich and lengthy history of success in entrepreneurial operations, including Iafrate Construction and Angelo’s Recycled Materials, current Angelo’s owners, Dominic Iafrate Sr and his sons Dominic Jr. and Steve, decided it was time to expand their portfolio and test an industry which they knew nothing of but had the foresight and belief would soon be thriving – the craft spirits industry.

The Iafrates were right, the craft spirits industry is one that is still in its infancy, but one that everyone seems interested in learning more about. With the trends seen over the past few years in the craft beer industry, the Iafrates saw a market opportunity that they thought they could fill.

With their vision and mission outlined, the family built a production facility that would support nationwide growth, secured a team of experts to develop and market the best craft products, and the company was licensed and ready to begin production in February of 2014. The family-owned and operated St. Petersburg Distillery then opened its doors for production as the largest craft distillery in the state of Florida. The artisan distillery produces meticulously crafted spirits, including vodka, gin, whiskey, rum and liqueur, with only the finest, high-quality ingredients.

Passion

Family-owned and founded in 2014, relentless passion for community and the authentic Florida craft spirit experience became the impetus for what St. Pete Distillery is today — one of the largest craft distilleries in the state of Florida.

Our team has grown since St. Pete Distillery’s inception, and each team member here works passionately, arduously and innovatively to continue developing the spirits we proudly deliver to our community.

Staying Local

St Petersburg Distillery uses locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. We take pride in supporting our local agriculture, enhancing our distinct flavors and production process.
