For nearly two centuries, the Murphy family has cultivated the land with care, ensuring the highest quality harvests while preserving their rich farming heritage.
A Legacy of Excellence
Murphy Farms isn’t just a place—it’s a legacy. The Murphy family has been farming this same land since the 1820s, with each generation passing down their knowledge, dedication, and love for the craft. Today, Stan Murphy, the farm’s CEO, continues this tradition. Having grown up tilling these fields, Stan now works alongside his children and nephew, Alex Murphy, to steward 1,500 acres of irrigated, row-crop farmland.
This deep connection to the land and commitment to family values ensures that every grain we use carries a story of hard work, passion, and pride.

Murphy Farms embodies the best of Florida agriculture. As a certified Fresh from Florida producer, all of their grains are grown, harvested, and prepared on-site. This means that from the moment a seed is planted to the time it’s ready to ship, everything happens under the meticulous care of the Murphy family.
Their state-of-the-art equipment and facilities include an onsite seed-cleaning and warehouse operation, where grains are cleaned, bagged, and stored to perfection. This hands-on, turnkey approach ensures exceptional quality and traceability, providing us with the superior grains we need to craft spirits that reflect Florida’s best.

St. Petersburg Distillery is proud to support The Dalí Museum’s Sueños de Dalí: Olympus Reimagined, the museum’s annual fundraising event. Come hang out and discover some amazing local talent at our new monthly Makers & Shakers Market! We’re setting up shop at the gorgeous St. Petersburg Distillery, located at 800 31st St S, St. Petersburg, FL 33712, and transforming the place into a lively marketplace, every month from 6PM to 10PM.
Every market will feature a rotation of local vendors. And to satisfy your cravings, we’ll have an awesome array of ready to eat dinner bites paired with shaken signature cocktails and mocktails that perfectly complement the market’s vibe. More Action for Regeneration
Take MAR (More Action for Regeneration) is an environmental nonprofit based in Tampa Bay, Florida, dedicated to creating lasting environmental change. Their mission is simple yet powerful: to regenerate ecosystems, improve individual and community well-being, and inspire pro-environmental behaviors that ripple into future generations.
Since 2023, the St. Petersburg Distillery has partnered with Take MAR by providing a trailside home storage container to house the essential equipment for their tree planting work. St. Petersburg Distillery continues support by actively participating in community programming, volunteer days, and playing a vital role in the success of their 300+ trees along the Pinellas Trail by donating the water that sustains their growth.

A Surrealist Awakening
Partnering with the Dalí Museum for the Sueños de Dalí soirée, where their iconic building and gardens morphed into a world of whimsical delight and reality blurred with imagination, our St. Petersburg Distillery mixologist created two themed mixed drinks. We were proud to enhance the guests evening while supporting the Museum’s mission as a premier nonprofit cultural and educational organization.
